This build is designed to shutdown a specific target whilst
taking them down reasonably quickly by means of using Shivers of
Dread while taking advantage of the probability that cold
daggers will interrupt most skills due to their attack speed.
Attributes and Skills
Equipment
- Daggers with an Icy dagger tang, "I have the Power!"
Inscription and any preferred dagger handle.
- Radiant armour if possible, but given how this build has you
running into the thick of it often, Nightstalker's armour may be
more appropriate.
Usage
- Choose your target and cast Shivers of Dread.
- Either:
- Use aura of displacement to get in close if you need to and
then use Black Lotus Strike followed by Critical strike to regain
energy.
- Against Kiting enemies it is advised to lead with Black Mantis
Thrust and followup with Jungle Strike for added effect.
- Cancel Aura of displacement whenever you need to get out of the
area quickly.
Counters
- Plague touch helps with most conditions, although crippling can
be of annoyance.
- Hex removal
- Energy denial.
Notes
- Don't just look for casters when choosing your target, it can
be very effective against Touch rangers and even other assassin
builds
