Variations

• players should choose their personal favorite dagger attack chain. it is best to avoid skills with high energy costs.
• Sharpen Daggers with the high critical rate of this build to spread bleeding.
• Siphon Speed to prevent casters from escaping.
• "Watch Yourself!" can be near continuous, even with no points in Tactics due to the much higher dagger attack speed. 20 Al is the difference between Assassin's Armor and Dragon Armor
• Flurry can be used to further increase the attack rate ergo increasing the energy and health gain.
• Dash can be replaced by Sprint to lengthen escape time.

Equipment

• a full set of assassin armor of your choice, infused with the following runes:
  • a Major or Superior Rune of Vigor.
  • a Superior rune of Deadly Arts.
  • a Minor rune of Shadow Arts.
  • a Minor rune of Dagger Mastery.
• a Keen Mask of Superior Critical Strikes
• Daggers of Enchanting, such as Daggers of Xuekao.

Usage

• Activate Critical Eye when heading into battle.
• Use Critical Defenses, followed by Way of Perfection. beware of the inital energy cost of starting these skills. You may drain your energy getting these skills up, but the energy from critical strikes will make maintaining them easier.
• Always keep up the trifecta of Critical Eye, Critical Defenses, and Way of Perfection.
• Should Critical Defenses begin to fail, use Wild Blow to renew it. Wild Blow has a net energy cost of 1 when Critical Eye is active.
• Activate Assassin's Promise when the target enemy is about to die. This will recharge all of your skills so you are prepared for the next foe.
• Enable Dash should you need to escape.

Counters

• Blindness
• Weakness
• on hit or on attackhexes such as Empathy or Spiteful Spirit
• Rend Enchantments or other enchantment removal.
• avoid Build:R/N Touch Rangers and casters, as you have little defense against non-attack skills and spells.
