The Deadly Sin uses a high Deadly Arts attribute to inflict conditions on
your target and other skills to exploit those conditions.
Attributes and Skills
Equipment
- Armor doesn't really matter except nightstalker because you
will be attacking less than normal.
- No zealous or vampiric daggers (same reason), use barbed,
poisonous, or crippling daggers mods.
Usage
- This build can deal a lot of damage, especially over time but
there is a heavy cooldown and energy cost.
- Use Crippling Dagger on your target foe, then follow up with
Jagged Strike to cover the
cripple condition with a bleed.
- Use Entangling Asp -> Jungle Strike and Seeping Wound to add
extra health degen.
- Afterwards, use Blinding Powder and Signet of Shadows.
- If you receive too much damage and have no monk ally nearby,
don't hesitate to cripple your target and run. It could save your
life and it's obviously much better than dying.
Counters
- Condition removal or transfer (Plague Touch)
- This build has no real escape ability
- The normal melee counters (Empathy)
Variants
- If you replace Seeping Wound with Assassin's
Promise, the PvP build becomes a good PvE build vs groups of weaker creatures.
- You can replace Signet of Shadows with a dual attack (Twisting
Fangs to lengthen the Bleeding and add Deep Wound on top of all
the other conditions)
