An Arcane Intervention redux,
this build uses Illusion of Weakness, Watchful Intervention, and Faithful Intervention to stay alive in
the heat of battle. It is mainly to be used to solo, but can also
be used in a party. Useful for farming ettins, Mighty Grawls,
minotaurs, griffins, hydras, and others.
Attributes and Skills
Equipment
- Armor
- Max armor with full Windwalker Insignias.
- The best vigor rune you can afford.
- Weapons
- A Scythe with an enchanting and zealous mod, like Scythe of
Corruption.
- It has a 15^50 Inscription, although it is not ideal. A 15%
while enchanted scythe is preferred.
Usage
- Cast Illusion of Weakness and Faithful Intervention as soon as
you leave the town or outpost.
- Wait for your energy and health to regenerate, or for a caster
to heal you.
- Proceed to cast Watchful Intervention, Balthazar's
Rage, and Zealous Renewal on yourself.
- Aggro the enemy.
- Spam Eremite's Attack and Mystic Sweep.
- Never use Illusion of Weakness in the middle of a battle.
- You will probably die unless a healer, if you have one, heals
you immediately.
- Use SoPL for a quick health boost and then
re-cast the removed enchantment.
- Use Pious
Renewal just as Balthazar's Rage and/or are about to end.
- Continue this until your targets are dead.
Counters
- Enchantment removal can pose a threat, if Illusion of Weakness,
Faithful Intervention, or Watchful Intervention are removed
consistently. Even though that causes spike healing, if the enemy
keeps removing the enchantment, you may run out of energy from
re-applying it.
Variants
- SoPL can be switched out for a
resurrect.
- Mystic
Vigor and Mystic Regeneration would be some good
choices if you decide you would rather have one of them instead of
the skills listed above.
- They can be placed wherever you see fit
