D-W Reaper TankMy goal was to create a a dervish that didn't rely on avatars, because what good is an elite you can use only half of the time? Since having this build I never worried about an avatar again. I have had nice results while using this build.
This build is made to be a tank basically. It sports a 104 armor level and a constant +9 regen. I've found this build extremely great and it does better than a tank in some cases. It can dish some major spike damage if you use Mystic Sweep after Reaper's Sweep.
| Attribute Rank | |
|---|---|
| Scythe Mastery | 12 + 2 |
| Earth Prayers | 9 + 1 |
| Mysticism | 9 + 1 + 1 |
Armor: Blessed insignia. (+10al when enchanted)
Weapons: Any scythe will do. Zealous, Sundering.
Cast Faithful Intervention before anything.
Before approaching enemies cast Conviction followed by your 2 other enchantments.
Spam Conviction, Mystic Sweep, and Wild Blow.
Keep and eye out and make sure your enchants and stance are always up.
When your target is >50% health hit them with the Reapers Sweep > Mystic Sweep Spike.
Enchant removal hurts but doesn't shut down the build. Necro hexes.
If you would prefer your own enchantments it's worth a try.
The way the spike works is because of Mystic Sweep's 3/4s activation time to ensure the damage after the deep wound from Reapers Sweep is applied.
Having Conviction up, enchanted or not, will always provide a benefit.
Since Faithful Intervention never ends unless you go below 50% health, it will keep your insignia's armor bonus up as well as the one from Conviction.
