Build:Mo/E Sliver Sheath

This build is similar to the regular 55 Monk build, with some variants.

• You may choose to replace Mend Ailment with Aftershock if you are fighting a large group of Bladed_Veldt_Termites.

Equipment

• Ascetic's Armor
• You should be equipped with a Totem Axe(although it is not required), and the -50 hp Grim Cesta obtained from the quest in Ascalon City.
• You should also be equipped with 5 superior Monk Runes, 4 of which should be different Attributes (the fifth doesn't matter).

Location

This build can be used in the following locations on the following enemmies:

• Arkjok Ward/Insects
• Arkjok Ward/Tusked Howlers
• Xaquang Skyway/Vermin (difficult)

Usage

• REMEMBER TO KEEP ON Protective Spirit AT ALL TIMES

• When you zone in, enchant yourself with Mending and Balthazar's Spirit right away. Mending will keep your Health Regeneration up, while Balthazar's Spirit will control your energy.
• Just before you aggrovate a group, cast Protective Spirit on yourself.
• When you aggrovate the group, immediately cast Stoneflesh Aura.
• Whenever you are regenerating Stoneflesh Aura, make sure you've used Protective Spirit FIRST, or you'll take the damage anyways.
• Make sure you attract as many meelee groups to yourself as you can, so that Sliver Armor will be most effective.
• When all of the meelee fighters group around you and start attacking, use Sliver Armor. The effect should be satisfying. If you have a negative Condition on yourself, use Healing Breeze and wait for it to wear out, or use Mend Ailment.
• At the end of the battle, when there are only Monks, Paragons, and Rangers left, pick up all of the drops, and resign.
• Use Shockwave for even more Damage.

Counters

Try to avoid fighting Mesmers and Necromancers, they will strip your Enchantments off of you. Also, beware of Burning, Disease, Bleeding, and Poison. Health Degeneration will affect you greatly.
