The 1hp Bip Necromancer makes use of having only 1 hit point to negate health loss
from sacrificing,
allowing Blood is Power to be spammed as required. This
build is frequently used in very high level areas (such as Urgoz's Warren
and the Domain of Anguish) because of the high
energy requirements of other players. As such spirits that would
benefit the whole team in such areas are used.
Attributes and Skills
Equipment
- Armor
- Radiant armor for maximum energy
- Five Superior Runes
Usage
- When entering an area use Blood is Power on an ally four times to kill
yourself. This will give -15% death penalty when resurrected you will only
have 1 hit-point. This means Blood is Power and any other
sacrificing skills can be cast with out worrying about health
loss.
- Get an ally to resurrect you using Resurrection
Chant or Flesh of My Flesh.
- Stand right at the back of the party, just within range of the
casters. If any enemies advance move backwards to keep them out of
your aggro cicle, as one hit from anything will kill you.
- Before the fight cast both spirits, Symbiosis and Edge of
Extinction.
- Spam Blood is Power on allies as required.
- Cast Well
of Blood when there is a corpse near casters, but only if it
does not require you to move into an enemy's aggro circle.
- Re-cast spirits when they die.
Counters
- Anything that can reach the 1hp BiP necromancer to cause any
form of damage.
- Famine is
particularly useful as it can be cast out of the 1hp BiP
necromancer's aggro range but will still affect him. This relies on
the 1hp BiP necromancer spamming skills, so as to reach zero
energy.
Variants
- 1hp BiP Beast Master necromancer has a pet so the gate trick
can be performed in the Foundry of Failed Creations quest.
Notes
- You only have 1 hit-point so anything will kill you. Always
make sure all enemies are out of range.
- Make sure an ally has Resurrection Chant or Flesh of my Flesh.
Any other resurrection that resurrects without full health will
fail.
- Do not worry about dying because you want to have death penalty
so as to keep your health at 1hp.
- Killing high-level monsters and/or completing quests can remove
some or all of your death penalty. If your death penalty is too low
you will have more than 1 hit-point. You will need to die again
before continuing.
- This build is for very high-level areas. This is why there are
two resurrection signets.
- This build is not appropriate for any form of PvP as enemies
will immediately seek you out.
